For the snowball effect

than pride left unchecked

like a runaway train

Momentum only grows

and the destination

is long gone

and destruction is inevitable

just a matter of time

before the whole thing derails

for what was a force

of strength

is all but lost to chaos

We are carried away by the hubris of the politicians mad with power and lying to suppress our fear. Know that you are afraid that the destruction our country pours around the world has now come home to us. It is us who have to put on the brakes.
